Just a quick update as we be keeping the car until our own is ready. Fuel consumption is consistently around 50 mpg, which I am impressed with. While the car is no rocket ship it is quite punchy and have no complaints with the performance of the car at all. The only slight irritation is that the wind and tyre noise is a bit more than I would expect, but saying that is still better than the MINI we had.
In terms of day to day use it has fitted in to family life well and does all that is asked of it. Several trips to the recycling depot and even easily got our Christmas tree in earlier today.
All in all I am very taken with the X1 and looking forward to ours arriving.
