Someone in another forum recently confirmed that the exhaust systems have the same parts but they tinkered with the M Sport to make them sound more aggressive. There's been a lot of conjecture on this. However, according to people in the know from BMW NA the exhaust tuning for the F12/F13 MSport and NON-Msport in the North American market is the same. There may be slight variations from vehicle to vehicle but thats about it.
