235/40/18 and 255/35/18, is this okay?

Hi guys,

I guess this is a two-part question.
I have searched this but can't seem to find the solid, legitimate answer I am looking for.

I currently run 225/40/18 and 255/35/18 Hankook V12 on my VMRs. My car has been experiencing some steering issues, where the car veers left, ever since I put new wheels and tires on. If I let go of the steering wheel, it begins to turn a bit to the left. The wheels were brand new, and so were the rear tires. The only thing that were not new were the front tires, as I bought them from a friend. I had an alignment twice to try and address the left pull, but the issue still exists.

I'm getting the issue checked out soon at EAS aka European Auto Source (Does anyone have any experience with them by the way?)

Anyways, if the tires end up being an issue, would it be okay to size up to 235/40/18 up front?
I know most people with 18's go with 225 and 255, but is there any problems with 235 and 255?
Ideally, I'd want to go 235F, 265R in the future, but my rear tires are too new to just get rid of right now.

Thanks!!
