ALWAYS ALWAYS find another route, let people honk all they want and risk their own vehicle. You can never tell just how deep it is. I'm not sure I agree with high revs, will increase intake flow. Water in intake = dead engine. Two family members have made that mistake...unsuspectingly deep water totaled their cars.
