So we pay about 14p/KWh on our current tariff and the car has a 12KWh battery. I don't think it allows you to run it down completely but worst case 12 x 14p = £1.68. If you factor having to get a charge point installed then allow for about £450 and amortise that cost over the life of the contract/ownership. If you don't get a tethered unit the cables are quite expensive. I've got a 10m cable and it cost £200.
I'm guessing you'll get about 45MPG at a steady 70MPH and at that speed the electric motor won't be super useful. 45*8 gallons(40ltrs)= 360 miles + 30 miles of electric. So "about" 400 miles, obviously assuming you do one long trip and don't charge it up again.
I'll let you know in a week or two! :-)

Many many thanks!

No worries. If you see my note above you can get EV electricity tariff's which are almost 1/3rd of the price I quoted. So pretty much 50p to fully charge the car using the scheduler between 0:30 and 04:30 hrs :-)
