Why can't we just get over the past and get on with the new? I mean, does BMW have to be the choice of the rich in America instead of the enthusiasts choice? I think the notion that having a 4 cylinder engine in a premium car is ass backwards, is just about ass backwards as anyone could even begin to think. I'm sure this has something to do with American vs. European logic in some respect, but I guess I'm of the minority that's just happy to be in a BMW in the first place, not because of the cylinder count and most certainly not because of the badge, but because it's the best damn car I can get away with driving on a daily basis without having to compromise much of anything else.
