Will this fake story ever die? BMW is not recalling cars to reprogram them to reduce horsepower! I had 3 recalls done recently (all software updates) and I can assure you that my car accelerates exactly as it did before I brought it in. My car originally had the 03/2019 software and now it has 11/2019.40.
All 3 recalls are fully documented and you can read about what is being reprogrammed and why. There is no secret conspiracy where BMW is robbing you of horsepower.
