Liquid wax in a spray bottle that is wiped away immediately. Has a few purposes. It is specialized to aid in wiping off and add gloss - I think some even add UV protection.
But if your out and about and get acidic bird droppings on paint a saturation of quick detailer and a soft towel can lift and wipe away carefully the contaminate without scratching paint. Ideally a spray bottle of water first to dislodge the droppings or saturate and liquify then the detailer - is a great way to clean the poop up.
