Or wouldn't F10/all BMWs no longer have to calibrate anything, such as Valve-timing/angle, or sparkling-timing? Were those just life long use needless to re-set?

By stupid enough we have to send our car to garage or dealer, where there all the fools use OBD or sometime just to show off!!!
I have no idea what any of those things you mentioned are! I am not a genius (damn!) i just know how to find do DIY through google. Maybe you can teach me those things sometime..
I mean, computer people are scared of mechanics, and vice versa .. but it may not be as hard as imagined .. according to google and youtube, you can service the car for many years unless something is broken, which requires the diagnostic equipment, otherwise its replace and reset (i think..)
