235 tyres rubbing issues
BMW supply 235/35ZR19 in Australia, I have had a rubbing issue with these tyres on the M235i x drive (F44), front fender and wheel well liner damaged (fender lip pulled down by the tyre resulting in slight distortion on the bodywork plus fender pushed out a few mm) wheel well liner also cracked. This occured while driving on a sweeping left hand bend with an undulation in the road. The m235i absorbs the undulation much better than my E90 330D indicating that the suspension does a lot of work to isolate the car body. Unfortunately the result was wheel to car body interference. Should not happen when the tyres, rims, suspension etc are stock.
