A 235/40 do you mean? Or 235/35? Because if you put the latter on an 18" wheel your speedo will be incorrect. Plus you won't get more aggressive cornering on a 235 tyre as opposed to a 225. Your first priority needs to be what tyre - something like Michelin Pilot Super sport will give you aggressive cornering, in the standard 225 size
