I noticed the same thing on the 235 and F30 335 I test drove. Both with the M sport brakes and the dust on the wheels was like my 07 E90. I know BMW got a lot of complaints about this and those the 10-11 cars have a different pad that makes almost no dust. our 2011 currently can go a month and barley look dirty. it doesn't have as much initial bite as the 07 did but is still pretty good. and the pads on my 11 inspire more confidence than the new 235 or 335 ones did. the new cars had a soft pedal. the car stopped pretty good and the MT test of the 235 shows a short 60-0 distance but I guess I was just expecting more from the brakes given how much swept area there is.
Maybe the solution is to have a set of PF RS4's, stop tech SP, Hawk HPS, etc., on hand and swap them on the car right after picking it up?
