The answer for me: it depends.
Assuming that we have the same options as M5 buyers. That is that SMG x (7 speed) is standard and the 6 speed manual is a no cost option. I will definitely be getting SMG.
If however SMGx is a cost option but has another gear, it would depend on the price (for $1000 I would do it, $1500 maybe, $2000 no)
If both transmissions have the same number of gears and the SMG is a a cost option. I'll be going with the 6 speed.
Only time will tell.
