I wouldn't worry much about owning a 328 out of warranty. I had a 328 and drove it to 94k miles with only having to replace the valve cover gasket.. If you keep up with preventative maintenance as the miles add up, you should have very few issues..

Main problems on these cars are the gasket and the water pump.. All tend to fail somewhere around 80k+ miles. Yes there have been instance of them failing earlier but general consensus is at about 80k or so.


Now if this was an 07 335 then yeah I'd say, RUN!!!
