To be honest, BMW doesn't even want most people to fully turn off DSC. They only have the option because a small minority of people and car reviewers want the ability. So it's just one of those things that you know if you need to know.
The vast majority of people driving BMWs will never fully disable DSC and BMW probably has no problem with that. They certainly don't want you to do it accidentally.
