mpccpa,

At the very least your Dealer can (should) tell you the production week that your car is scehduled to be built. Just FYI, as an example, week 35 begins August 30th and ends on September 2. If your Dealer told you that you had week 35 production, it would technically mean that your car would be finished anywhere between those dates. Weeks 35 - 38......and most of 39 would be considered "September" build.

The 5 series is (i believe) taking roughly 7 business days to manufacture. Once it is finished, it should take anywhere between an aditional 4 to 6 weeks for you to get it. This of course depends on a lot of variables with the transportation, VPC, your Dealer get ready, and location. For the "first car" I ordered, (no combox...long story...second car on order) it took exactly 5 weeks from the date the car rolled off the line to when I would have picked it up at the Dealer....for St. Louis.

Hopes this helps.
