The dealer wants £95 for 6.5 litres of Mobil 1. I can buy 8 litres of it (with 1.5 litres extra for topping up) for £86 from Halfords with the 10% off.
Also found an article about the BMW Longlife ratings and it states that “BMW recommends Castrol” So, I reckon that the dealer is probably getting Mobil 1 on a bulk buy purchase.
I would agree that OPIE OILS is a good place to buy, but the Halfords 10% sale makes it better, plus there are no shipping costs because I can order and reserve and pick it up locally. I know that OPIE OILS often do special promotions for BMW Car Club Forum at 10% now and then.
