Time to wake up & smell the coffee. You personally might not like to drag race but I see in Dzenno (COBB Stage 3 Alpha/RP turbos ) listed in 14th/21st & 26th place behind the other two major BMW tuners with a 2008 listing.
The 1/4 mile might not appeal to everyone but, since tuning is about extracting performance from a car, its good for quick & dirty for comparisons.
Terminal speed is a good indicator of how much power the car actually has. There are any number of formulae that will convert terminal speed into a horsepower estimate.
Additionally its always nice to see what a car can do in real life off the dyno. Both of the other two major BMW aftermarket tuners regularly post 1/4 runs as part of their standard marketing programs.
