Arrow Diy - Sun / Wind Deflector

Hi guys,

I installed the wind deflector yesterday.
It took around 35 minutes for me as i had to figure how exactly it goes but
it can be done in 15 minutes max.

The advantages of having a sun/wind deflector is

1. Direct sungight is avoided.
2. Wind drag is reduces.
3. Car looks a little bit sexy.... LOL

Ok lest start ...
you need
1. Wind deflector
2. Brackets (2),
3. No 2 Phillips screws (2),
4. Screwdriver with No. 2 Phillips head
5. Budlight.

To start with put the deflector on the top and see that it is symmentrical from the front.

Now try to alling the holes on wind deflector so that they are just on the edge when looking from the top.
so you know the position where the brackets should be held .

Oce you got the location of the brackets everything else is easy.
put the brackets in the position . then slowly close the moonroof.so that brackets are in place and dont move .
again place wind deflector over the top to check if the holes on brackets and wind deflector are concentric.

Once when we have everythin in place just apply some pressure on the deflector and try to start the screw. Use a screwdriver for a couple of turns only.
Now repeat on the other side .

When everything looks in place open the roof glass so that you have space and you can use hands more freely.

Now here is the chance to adjust if it dosent look right.

Finally push the deflector down with your hand when you tighten the screws as i felt the deflector would crack and also its easire to screw.

Finally have a Budlight and admire your work. :rocks:

Hope this pictures might help you.
