If I recall correctly, the ED BMW M5s back then didn't count towards dealer allocations, so it was effectively "free" for the dealers and they would want to move as many units as possible. You'll probably see pretty good discounts again if that scenario repeats itself. |
For the 2013 M5s the cars were exempt from dealer allocation for the first 4 weeks. However after that the cars came from dealer allocation. My second M5 was certainly from dealer allocation.
I'm sure we will see good discounts within months. I'm already being offered 8% off on an E63S and that's only been out 2 months.
