What colour is your car, and does your finger nail catch easily on the scratch?

Sometimes a good wet sanding will fix it so that it's almost undetectable, but if it has gone through to the primer or metal it will need paint. Wet sanding is cheap, and any good detailer will do it .. take to a body shop and they'll want to repaint the entire panel regardless of the level of damage.

Get some pics tomorrow, if you can...
