i know brembos are like the brakes to have but i keep reading how a nightmare it is to maintain them, expecialy in the brake pad section. so im asking this question, we all know brembos do perform but does the high price come from brand and how does it compare to other bbks?

personally i think brembo is just brand name with a huge mark up and i believe other bbks can perform just as well as brembo at a lower cost.

some others are: wilwood, rotara, stasis (spelling), wald, performance friction, movit, alcon, stoptech, & ap racing.
