We had a 1.8d Sdrive manual loan car for about six weeks. That was on 18 inch wheels with non runflat tyres and the ride was more than acceptable.
Both Mrs W and me both felt that we would have preferred the car with the Auto box, but having said that the manual trnasmission was ok. We have ordered an auto for our own car though.
