If I do go down the plastics route e.g. acrylic or high impact preparations itl be good old fashioned hand work.
Shaping in terms of the shape in the 2D plane will be done by cutting filing and sanding down by hand. Any curves in the vertical plane will be probably be done via heat application via heat gun till the plastics pliable and then curved shapes and blocks
will be used to mould curves around.
Il be using a relatively thick piece of plastic so not too sure how pliable it will be to moulding so my backup is to actually use additional pieces of plastic and build any extreme bits and bond them on.
I'm sticking to a very simple design initially, once someone's gets me rough sizes and pics il sketch up a mock
