Late to the party here -
I think it would be possible to put a small cone intake filter (for cars or even a smaller one for bikes) on the air intake portion of a leaf blower to prevent it from pushing out rocks and what not...however I always have to ask - what are you doing with your leaf blower to get rockets in it while drying your car???
