This was driving me nuts. Had a misfire at low revs and had thought it had to be an injector or coil as I had just fitted new OEM plugs about 4k miles ago.

Took a while but eventually got a 29D1 cylinder 5 misfire code and out of curiousity I swapped the plug for one of the old ones that was still kicking about my toolkit. Wow its like a new car again.

Driven it for a week now to make sure it was that before ordering a new plug. The idle is now rock solid and the little hesitations and stutters below 2000rpm have gone!

Never heard of a plug failing that quickly and hope it was just a dodgy plug and a one off.

Worth trying for any of you with similar issue.
