Ok maybe semantics. Pulling twice (the light stalk - clarifying just in case
) is turning the lights on then off. Older cars a half pull for a flash.
I just seem to remember in my 135i with high beam assist a single pull turned on the assist with no light until it calculated to do so and an A would illuminate on the dash. When it was dark or no on coming cars then the high beams would turn on. Ie: I couldn't flash someone.
That was my experience however happy to be corrected.
BTW nfi if the M2 has high beam assist
