Yeah the LL01 0w-40 does go on sale but I think it's ~ 30$. Must have been with tax. I had bought it once for my E46 a few years back.
I've added it to my sale alert now. I had bought the oil I used now at Walmart USA when I picked up my parts there and it was on sale like the other oil.
It should go on sale when the Castrol stuff goes on sale.
