Have you ever driven one? Do you have any need to carry more stuff than a sedan can carry?

I'm the type that likes doing things around the house and yard. From time to time, I have to carry stuff. I like to drive. There's no minivan that has any appeal as a driver's car. Most SUVs are lumbering hogs. I've had a traditional station wagon, an Explorer, a Durango, two MDXs, and an X3. The X3 is the only one I wish I still had. It carried most of the stuff I needed to haul, was huge fun to drive (especially compared to the other SUVs) and much more efficient than any of them.

Was that thorough enough?
