so far it doesn't look like a "larger" intercooler is necessarry for the low boost pressures the 335 is pushing. Turbonetics and Spearco are looking to upgrade the IC with a more efficient core, end caps and couplers.
The more efficient core will transfer more heat away from the compressed air quicker providing denser A/F mixtures which will keep knock down and increase power output.
BTW: turbos transfer tremendous amounts of heat, including these little mitsu's, regardless of where they are located.
