I don't know if there is clearance issues, but it seems a larger intercooler would be extremely helpful and beneficial in this car since the stock one has got to be one of the smallest I've seen.
Anybody have any insights into any tuner company making a larger one?

If simply installing a larger volume intercooler without other alterations such as more turbo boost may result in more significant turbo lag. I would like to have a more efficient intercooler, not necessarily a larger one, and also more efficent connecting silicone pipes.
