Don't listen to these people
I just took my car in for the very same thing. Sometimes it would stop and other times go for about 10 secs.
The dealer ordered a new knob and equip underneath and we shall see if that solves it.
Mine usually occured during nav use. I would zoom in or out and the comp would just take over....
