It might sound strange, but from what it looks right now bmw.ca are updating different components on their web sites continiously (not at once).
Alan, you might want to try clearing your Internet cache, as no matter which model/configuration I played with the numbers were always lower, not by much though.
Here is a breakdown for base E90-328:
-------------------------------------
MSRP $41,000
Leasing $596/mo
(excl. Taxes)
Financing $952/mo
(incl. Taxes)

Type Lease (20,000 KM/year)
Downpayment $0
Trade-in $0
Term (months) 36
Province ON
Rate 5.90%
Residual Value $25,420
Monthly Payment $596/mo

That comes up to 25,420/41,000 = 0.62
Monthly payment for 323 was affected a bit more since its residual wasn't as high as 328.

It will likely be an E92 328i. I'd like to get an E92 335i, but I'm on an E90 328i budget

Anyway, Alex/Bimmerista, for a 36 month lease using 20,000 km/yr (that appears to be what you were using and is what I'm be looking at), I see slightly different residual %'s than you've mentioned (60% for E92's, E90 335i, 61% for E90 323 and 62% for E90 328i), on BMW.ca under "Build your own". When I click on Leasing and divide the residual by the MSRP on say an E92 328i, I get:
$26,160 / $43,600 = 60% Am I missing something? Any amount I can reduce the monthly payments / down payment by will put me closer to a 335i.

Also a drop in the residual value increases the monthly payment if all other factors remain equal. All the configurations I saved last night are now $5-$15/mth more. My mildly optioned E92 328i (Space Grey, beige leatherette with Walnut trim and Telephone/Bluetooth) went up $12/mth. A similarly equipped E92 335i went up $13/mth.

Bimmerista, how'd your payments go down? I'd love to be able to get that kind of drop. Were you using 36 months? 20k/yr? or something else?
