I have no objections about my F30 335 (option 704 suspension) after having an E90 328 sport/6MT (tracked so regularly it had a NASA NorCal time trials log book...)
There are differences I had to get used to going to F30 (low speed weight of the steering, softer rear suspension) but I haven't looked back since making the switch

It was a RWD 328i, 6MT, no 704 suspension. I don't object to how my F30 drives but it's less communicative and understeer's more than my E90 did.
