Somebody needs to develop TPMS sims for those of us with aftermarket rims. Say a small device that we fasten into each wheel well that tricks the car's computer into thinking everything is A OK.

You do not have to buy from BMW. Tirerack and other companies sell replacement sensors that work with the BMW system.
