Go with dedicated rims if you can afford it The hassle and cost of installing /reinstalling and balancing twice a year outweighs the investment. Worse case there are probably ugly but functional steel rims available for 200 bucks (for 4).
Also I would get as narrow a size as practical.
All my cars have winter rims/tire setups and the 135i has rfts that performed well (although painfully expensive @ $2500 for a set).
