The tricky part is removing the water before water spots form, and applying you favorite polish/wax. Chamois works for the former.

There are as many opinions on the latter as there are on best engine oils to use. So I'll leave that one alone.

I have been trying the expensive shampoo but I think it's time to change to general soap, what you guys have been stating.

2 things I will say that I can't recommend enough!
1. AMMO HYDRATE for taking water off (drying stage after washing) best stuff ever!
2. AMMO SKIN (sealant) for protecting the paint after a harsh winter...needs it after United Kingdom weather

The HYDRATE isn't that expensive but the SKIN is $69 but is definitely worth it. Does about 6-9 cars at least!
