Go to the screen that shows the camera (press the P button near the shifter). Then using the iDrive controller, tilt to the left to bring up the menu on the left. Select the 3D view. This will show a 3D rendered view of your X5. Now you can use the pinching to spin the car around and see it from different angles. A cool gimmick, but not all that useful in my opinion.
