I doubt it will be any wider, the X5 M50d and X5M are the exact same width, same holds for the X6 M50d and X6M (M Sport package is really all that's needed to match widths though). I'm guessing the wheel and tire combos will be the same as well, making the 21" wheels standard in the US models with the 20" wheels a no cost option.
