The answer is No.

Unless: the tune allows it and I doubt it does. It would mean the tune wants the higher octain and is always dialing it back to compensate. There "may" be ion knock sensing (ala Harley Davidson) that will sense impending knock and retard the timing for a few milliseconds....this you can feel.

In my opinion, running higher octane fuel where not required will result in more combustion chamber deposits.

You should run the lowest octane fuel you motor is designed (and tuned) to run on.
