I did tug on them a little before driving, they felt super solid. I've already hit 120 mph with the winglets on, no issues so far. The push pins I used were the plastic type that expanded, pretty sure that's how most push pins work. The ones I used were basically the same as the ones BMW used for the OEM rear diffuser.
