Agree with you completely, but hasn't BMW had the M-Sport packages for a while? I remember they had the package with the E46 and E39, but I don't remember much before that - was too young (ie. a kid).
I like the fact that they have the package, but I agree they should not have the badges and name. (as in, have the package, so it will add the cosmetic options, but don't have M-badged wheels, door sills, shifter, and steering wheel).
