I also changed tires recently, I decided to keep the same brand but went up one size in section width. I wondered why BMW put 225s on the 18 inch wheels and 235s on 19s. the diameter are completely different. I just saw that 19 inches wheels have the same width (8 inches) as our 18. I prefer to keep * tires until the end of the warranty at least but I can imagine that the mecanical grip is improved since the tire is noticeably wider !
So less understeer?
