BMWBLOG has some connections, so the base price might be right. What I take issue with is all their inaccuracies. They do this all the time...

"So it’s a 3.0 liter twin-turbocharged inline-six engine that makes 410 hp and 406 lb-ft of torque."

US standards is 405hp.

"According to BMW, the BMW M2 Competition will get from 0-60 mph in 4.2 seconds with the rapid-shifting DCT. If you want to row your own gears, you’ll have to wait an extra two-tenths to get to sixty, as BMW claims a 4.4 second time."

The current model is 4.1 w/DCT. BMW has stated the M2c is 4.0 flat w/DCT.

"...you notice the biggest changes. Its ride height seems even lower than on the standard car and it sits on very aggressive..."

Wrong, the ride height it exactly the same as the outgoing model. Ground clearance is less due to either the revised front bumper or larger muffler.

"Inside, the BMW M2 gets new optional M Sport seats..."

According to BMW Press USA M sport seats are standard for US. Let's wait and see what the official pricing guide says, I'm betting they are standard.
