To answer your question: yes, everyone else. I certainly did with my E46 M3, twice.
1000 miles in 4 days? 250 miles per day. You really drive a lot.
I drive 100+ miles/day going to and from work and then chaperoning the kids. But, 250 man, that's got to be a record. Is this your normal commute? Or do you just want to get past break-in?
