Years ago finding a good cable was a crap shoot. You could spend anything between 30-100 bucks for the same unverified POS. Software was also much harder to get. I probably downloaded a dozen INPA packages from turrents and none of them worked correctly or ran on anything other than Windows XP.
Today life is so much easier, trail has been firmly blazed and beat down by those before you. For the price of a tank gas, Pick up the BimmerGeeks cable download the software they make available and move on.
