What's the latest state of the art for Z4 cup holders? (I saw the Ultimate cupholder postings)
I recently bought a Z4 M Coupe and took a 5 hour trip. So I brought a small (of course) thermal lunch bag with a bottle of water and a snack. By the time I was on the NJ Turnpike I got thirsty, took a sip, only to discover the bottle slides out the bottom of the cupholder. I screw the bottle's top back on and toss it onto the passenger seat and mentally note that BMW designers are *still* mad at US customers for asking for cupholders. My E36 M3 had semi-usable ones in the center console. On the trip back I pick up my son, we get fast food drive thru - now we have two drinks with no home.
I've been thinking about trying a soda can insulator sleeve that can be folded and stored in the console.
