Honestly never used a golf range finder but I can't see it being too different honestly. As long as it has angle compensation I'd say you're good to go. |
That's funny because I'm the opposite. I'm a weekly golfer, but never been hunting.
My golf gps is a Leopold.. When I bought it I looked at the difference between the one I chose and the shooting equivalent. The basic difference i could see were the rectile, and information shown/provided. Obviously the line-of-sight distance will be the same, but I wonder if they account for elevation the same way though.
