bmwretrofit.com will be selling a retrofit Combox (6VC) from January to replace the MULF and TCU units in pre September cars but unless you really want the album artwork or bluetooth audio transfer or Office functions then it will be a lot of money for what it will add. I also believe a further software update is due out to provide full compatability of the Combox with the iphone. Current releases ista/p 40.x needed for Combox.
