Noticed mine has been acting up today, too. Didn't update location. Tried remote start while I was leaving office. Didn't work. But something updated and it updated location from mid-morning … but not where it was parked at office.
<sigh>
Did I mention that my other car is a Ford Explorer? Drive it in winter. Use the remote start to warm up the car when leaving office. Works every freakin' time. And once there were a couple of days when it was a bit slow - once they fixed that, next time I opened the app, there was a message from Ford along the lines of "we sincerely apologize for the performance problems, etc. etc."!!!!
It does leave a bit of a sour taste in my mouth that BMW highlights the luxury premium experience and markets their new super duper OS … and gets trumped by Ford without them even trying.
Yet, I still enjoy driving the Z4 more than driving the Explorer! ;-)
